Love is...
1) the willingness for deep and genuine self-honesty
2) the spaciousness that enfolds without a trace of judgment (1)
3) the alchemical and transformative power emerging from (1) and (2)
And...
4) the new worldspace or domain of Consciousness that flowers through the allowance of (1), (2), and (3).
Love is the reality by which self honesty happens,
Love is the infinite spaciousness that enfolds
without reaction or contraction,
Love is the living power that transmutes,
and grants radical re-birth,
Love is the creation itself that emerges from
Love's Mysterious Existence.
And Love is all there is. It is beyond concept, it is beyond physics, meta-physics, and all domains of belief systems.
It is immediate, palpable, visceral, alchemical, and 'unknowable' (by the conceptual, mediating mind).
Love is the 'field' of Reality, and Reality alone IS Love. It is entered when the soul "puts down its weapons" : defense, belief, meta-concepts, right of possession, and self-contractions.
Love alone is Real
Love alone Heals
Love alone is the Seer, the Seeing, and the Seen.
It is dynamic and at once utter Stillness.
It is the only existent that has neither birth nor death, nor does its essence ever change.
It is YOU, and YOU can only be IT.
Love.
BE That, DO nothing. And nothing will be left undone.
Get it. Give it. Be Free.
Or...not.
If I am not awake IN LOVE, just where am I ?
Illusion, Dream, Nightmare, Fear, Alienation, Struggle, Ignorance. All of these are defined by one characteristic: Life is Absent.
By what power does Love descend, penetrate, enfold, heal, transform and reveal Reality?
There is only one answer, and it is one word: choice.
Love IS, and it must wait... on YOUR welcome.
When? NOW
Where? HERE
Or, never....
Where Love IS CHOSEN enjoyment blossoms, peace deepens, and sweet innocence drenches us like a softly falling spring rain, or the softest kiss of our beloved.
No one can make it come, no one can make it go.
It's the only thing held in the palms of our hands that does not come and go.
Love simply waits...for YOU.
What will you choose, RIGHT NOW?
Give up everything else. Stop petting the drunken skunk stumbling through your brain.
Finally BE what you really are, and are made of, sustained by, and carried within.
Or...not.

A man is not where he is but where he loves.
All the universe has come from love and unto love shall it return
At the touch of love, everyone becomes a poet
Better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all
God is Love
It only takes a very small degree of hope to bring about the birth of love.
Looking back I have this regret that so often have I loved, I have not said so.
Love can accommodate lust, but lust can never accommodate love
Love cannot go where the heart will not follow
Love demands a mystic silence from all of us
Love demands infinitely less than friendship
Love does not measure, it just gives.
Love each other or perish
Love feels no burden, thinks nothing of trouble, attempts what is above its strength and pleads no excuse of impossibility
Love is a game in which two can play and both win
Love is able to undertake all things, and it completes many things, and warrants them to take effect where he who does not love would faint and lie down.
Love is doing great things with great love
Love is like a mountain, hard to climb, but once you get to the top the view is beautiful.
Love is like a mustard seed; planted by God and watered by men
Love is like the sun coming out of the clouds and warming your soul.
Love is not being loved
Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more it is willing to see less.
Love is strong yet delicate. It can be broken. To truly love is to understand this. To be in love is to respect this.
Love is sufficient unto love
Love is the answer to all questions and the solution to all problems.
Love is the disease for which there is no cure.
Love is the most powerful form of energy in the universe
Love is the only rational act.
Love is the only thing that can conquer death
Love is the triumph of imagination over intelligence
Love is watchful and sleeping, slumbereth not, though weary, it is not tired, though pressed, it is not straitened ,though alarmed, it is not confounded.
Love is where you find it
Love takes naught, but gives all
Love, like a river, will cut a new path whenever it meets an obstacle.
No effort to love is ever wasted
Of all forms of caution, perhaps caution in love is the most fatal to true happiness
People who are uncertain about love are incapable of it.
Perfect love casteth out all fear
The eskimos had fifty two names for snow because they believed there should be as many for love.
The only prayers omnipotence can answer are those to love, not for love
There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved.
Think not that you can direct the course of love, for if it finds you worthy, it will direct your course
Think with the heart and love with the mind
To fear love is to fear life and those who fear life are already three-parts dead
To love and to be loved is to feel the sun from both sides
To love for the sake of being loved is human, but to love for the sake of love is angelic
We waste time looking for the perfect lover when we should be creating the perfect love
When you get to the end of your wits, you will find only love there
When you love someone, all your saved-up wishes start coming out.
You don't have to go looking for love when it is where you come from
You know you are in love when you see the world in her eyes, and her eyes everywhere in the world.

The ancient Greeks had three words for different types of "love". 1. Eros, from which we get the English word 'erotic', which referred to physical love. 2. Phileo, which meant a 'brotherly or sisterly' type of affection. 3. Agape, which referred to the 'spiritual' aspects of love. Many use the word 'spiritual' to refer to a very wide spectrum of meanings, and there are many spiritual qualities included in the word "Love".
'Love' is a word like 'tree'. When you say 'tree' you are not defining which particular type of 'tree' you mean, for there are many kinds of 'tree' as we know.
When we use the word "Love", that word embraces and includes very many aspects of human behaviour, so to be clear we might want to use other words to explain which facet of love we mean. In English, we have one word for 'snow, the Eskimos have many, for it is important to them to be clear about what type of snow is meant.
Included in the word "Love" are feelings, emotions, actions and values all of which have a positive, beneficial and uplifting effect on us and all those around us.
Here is a partial list of words that define loving, positive values and spiritual qualities that are aspects of "Love": joy, peace, kindness, courtesy, calm, tranquil, patience, gentleness, acceptance, forgiveness, goodness, meekness, temperance, moderation, harmony, agreeable, stability, balance, respect, honourable, honesty, truthful, reliability, faithfulness, humility, teachable, friendly, generous, charitable... the list goes on.
So if we want to test whether something is "Love" or not, we need to ask ourselves what positive spiritual values are contained in the situation, the relationship, or the words expressed. If we observe the opposite aspect of any of the list of the loving values, like hatred, dishonesty, lying, disrespect, etc., we know that "love" is not being expressed.
In the pursuit of personal development, we are striving to eradicate negative values and destructive behaviour, and working to embody positive values in all we think and do, both in our own lives and in our interaction with everyone we are involved with.

A good love is delicious because you can't get enough too soon.
A smile to put you on high... A kiss to set your soul alright...Would it be alright if I spent tonight being loved by you?
Age does not protect you from love. But love, to some extent, protects you from age.
Don't forget to love yourself.
He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much.
I see you in every passing face
If love were a movie, you'd be a box office hit!
Let love be your greatest aim.
Life is the flower for which love is the honey.
Love is the delusion that one woman differs from another.
Love is the master key which opens the gates of happiness.
Love is to think about someone else more times in a day than you think about yourself.
Love makes everything lovely.
Love makes life so confusing but without love would you want to live?
Love teaches even asses to dance.
Love without return is like a question without an answer
Love your enemies. It really pisses them off!
Love: Two minds without a single thought.
Lovers, like bees, lead a honey-sweet life.

...the way that my husband looks at me in the morning.
...the way that my grandson smiles at me.
...the way that my 72 yr old mother insists on cooking a large meal when we visit.
...the pounding in my heart when I look at my husband.
...the fear that I feel for my kids out in the world (even though they are grown).
...the viscousness with which I will go after anyone who hurts someone important to me.
...my sister just calling to see how I am.
...my grown son or my grown nephew taking out the trash (or something of equal value) when they come to visit - without being asked to do so.
...the way that we do small things for each other, in an effort to make life easier and more pleasant. It's a smile from your child, a neighbor giving you a ride or checking in on you.
Love is anything that you make it, and regardless of what we may think - or how much we can be hurt by someone that we love (love does not cause hurt - people cause hurt), love is perfect, just the way that it is, in any form that it comes in.

Love is patient; love is kind.
Love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way: it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice in wrong doing, but rejoices in truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
And now faith, hope, and love abide,
and the greatest of these is love.
(Corinthians 13)
Lovely also
Believe in your heart that
something wonderful is about to happen.
Love your life.
Believe in your own powers,
and your own potential,
and in your own innate goodness.
Wake every morning
with the awe of just being alive.
Discover each day the magnificent,
awesome beauty in the world.
Explore and embrace life in yourself
and in everyone you see each day.
Reach within to find your own specialness.
Amaze yourself and rouse those around you
to the potential of each new day.
Don't be afraid to admit
that you are less than perfect;
this is the essence of your humanity.
Let those who love you help you.
Trust enough to be able to take.
Look with hope to the horizon of today,
for today is all we truly have.
Live this day well.
Let a little sun out as well as in.
Create your own rainbows.
Be open to all your possibilities;
all possibilities and Miracles.
Always believe in Miracles.

"The mind determines what is possible. The heart surpasses it.'' - Pilar Colinta
"We can only learn to love by loving." - Iris Murdoch
Love to me is simply indescribable. It is to be experienced through one's heart... words cannot measure it.
