View Full Version : Is it just me ?

Everyday I get bombarded by emails from all kinds of "get rich quick" sites with opening lines like:

"Last chance to join up"
"Be quick or lose your chance"
"I want to send you $1000 - will you let me ?"
"New affiliate program is taking over the net - sign up now or miss out forever"

"Forced Money System"... "Easy Cash Daily"...."Prospect Blazer" -
bah! - Humbug!

ALL of these sites are begging for me to spend some small amount of money with them and seem hell bent on saying ANYTHING to get it.

For the life of me, I could NEVER send this type of stuff to people, because I feel that, generally, people are not stupid and can spot a desperado marketing ploy a mile away...

Nowadays, as SOON as I see this type of thing, I IMMEDIATELY trash it. It just seems so much like it is THEM for whom "time is running out".

SURELY, if they were onto such a good thing, then why would they need to convince me to join them ? And if it was indeed a good thing, then why would it have such a time limit ?

If one TRULY has a decent product or service to offer, then I would imagine it would sell itself and not need some elaborate, high-pressure "sales-speel" to make people see its value...

eg "Lead Generator" - what sort of nonsense is this ? The moment I hear anything about "leads" I straight away get the mental image of beng on the phone trying to concince someone to invest in my new system because I was silly enough to get sucked in and now have to hassle others to do the same thing to get my money back...

Is it just me who feels this way ? I mean, I don't see Patric having to stoop to this kind of thing - his method of marketing seems far more "friendly" than any of these crowds....

hahaha!!!! - while I was typing this, another one just came in - called
"Time is running out!!!" from "Easy Daily Cash (no reply)"

oh PLEASE!
