Well, that statement is not very positive but I would like to share my true background and I how I came to be who I am today. I used to be a car salesman. Nobody likes a car sales man. When you sell used cars you do not really go to partys and tell everyone freely what you do for a living. It's right up there with lawyers!

Well I learned along time ago that if you were going to buy a car then a car salesman is just like any other sales person for any other product that you want to purchase. I always reminded people that I was there to help them.

To assist them in making an educated decison on a major investment! Even though they would be giving me the stiff arm to back away and to leave them alone and the old "im just looking" line. I still told them that I was there for them.....to pick my brain, ask me questions. I would even give them questions to ask the salesperson at the next dealership they went to! I would tell them If I was looking for a new car this is what I would want to know. I would open a hood of a car and show them how to tell if a car was in a front end accident before... I would tell them the best days to shop for a car and why! (the managers didnt like that one too much) But in the end...the customers loved me because they knew that everything I said was absolutely true. I would say things like.."even I don't like car salesman and I am one!"

I never gave them pressure , but I filled their head with good information..and guess what? They always came back and would deal with no other salesman but me.

I think internet marketing is the same. We get a bad rap sometimes but the only way we will ever stand out in the crowd is by treating our customers the way we want to be treated and showing them that we are beneficial to them in the long run.

Ha...I had no idea what I would write about here but I am glad I wrote this.

I may turn it into an article!

Thanks Patric for giving us a place to share!
