I would highly recommend Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard for anyone wanting to start a network marketing business. He certainly opened my eyes to a few things about the business and entrepreneurship.
One piece of advice by Mr Dillard is that there is no one course in the world that will teach you everything you need to know about network marketing or business in general. This is a constant learning process and as your business grows, there will be new things to learn.
Therefore, get your hands on all the courses or books that you can. Magnetic Sponsoring is definitely a good starting point.

Hi Alison,
Thanks for sharing.
Another one that I would recommend is Do This! Get Rich! For Network Marketing by Jim Britt. This is an affordable book that's over 300 pages by someone who's been in the trenches.
Here's the description of the book and how you can get it:

Congratulations on taking the chance of being your own "boss" :), but remember no matter how many books you read or how many DVD's you see, you need to take action!!

Hi Mary
Thanks for your advice. Yes, I'm taking action every day. They are small steps to adjust myself and get my feet wet, so to speak.
I will keep everyone posted on my progress.
Good luck on your own personal journeys.

Nice to see someone else interested in marketing :)
I've never been a fan of MLM stuff though, but if I start in the future, I'll be sure to check this out.

Lemonarian, I can totally identify with you. A lot of people in MLM can be a tad aggressive and unscrupulous. Like me, you have probably been duped to attending their business opportunity meetings so many times that you can smell it coming a mile away, right ;)
I, myself, never thought that I would go into MLM as well, until I found this company that really is adding value to other people's lives rather than just blatantly pushing their products. So I decided to dabble a little in it and see what happens.
